Another Unfinished Battle
Each of the two comepeting today have fought long and hard, and have even competed with each other before, to get to this place, the fight that matters.
From where I am sitting, I can see that the first mech has spent most of his machine's capability to carry weight on carrying armour: he's got tripple thick defenses and shield generators, and only a few, small weapons. On the flip side, his opponent is armed with a huge array of guns, lazers, and rocket launchers; it seems that this one is not intent on taking any hits tonight because the machine has almost no armour at all.
And they're off! As predicted, mech #2 is launching all he's got, but it doesn't seem to be having any effect on the first; he's done a good job at armouring up. At the same time though he just stands there and takes it all. Number two is just running circles around, firing, firing, and getting no where!
What's happening now? The second mech is powering down? Can it be, they've exhausted their batteries?! Is this match going to become as easy as walking up to and pulling a small lazer trigger from point blank range?

You know you're listening too hard when you hear a rhythmical error professionally recorded and performed by Coldplay on their new "X & Y" cd.

i'm not even listening to my own instrument anymore...
*psyched out 4th dimension face*
...oh c'mon, you know the one... where it's like happy excited confusion with an exclamation point?
the vocal trips over the rhythm, which is mainly held by the bass player, so they are playing two totally different things...but now i can't find it! I've lost it now, arg. I thought it was in "Fix You"... a horrible perfomance by the voice, but i can't find it the particular boo boo i thought i had found. -
great mental picture man...

when I was young I knew nothing but thought i knew everything.

when I got a little older I went to school thinking I knew everything and learned that I know nothing.
when i graduated yet I still thought I had it figured out, but still I knew nothing.
When I finally realised I know nothing, I noticed that I did know something, myself and my own finitude.
When I realised my own finitude, I began to understand the magnitude of an infinite God.
And that knowledge only puffs up, but love builds up.
and that the wisdom of God is foolishness to those of the world.
but only because they don't see the full picture.
have you ever missed the full picture staring at the details?
